My work consists of paintings, drawings and screenprints that complement one another while creating a tension between geometric structure and intuitive, sketch-like construction.

The city is not a subject, but an underlying presence of rhythm, density and emptiness, surface and texture.

By working alternately with contrasting colors and more muted tones, the images develop gradually, almost like a photographic process.

What emerges are fragmented compositions in which memory, perception and imagination flow into one another, forming open, shifting constellations.
